About Caitlin
Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, an EMDR Certified Therapist, and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS). Caitlin is also licensed to provide therapy via telehealth to clients in New Jersey.

Caitlin brings many years of experience working with individuals across all levels of care, including acute psychiatric inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings. Much of her clinical work has focused on high-acuity and complex presentations, including chronic and/or developmental trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, attachment wounds, eating disorders, suicidality, and self-harm. She primarily works with adults with histories of long-term trauma and relational harm.

Her work is rooted in EMDR and attachment-focused, parts-oriented therapy, with an emphasis on safety, stabilization, and resourcing. Caitlin supports clients in gently reprocessing traumatic experiences while strengthening internal systems of care, self-trust, and emotional regulation. She is known for creating a warm, attuned, and collaborative therapeutic space that honors each client’s pace, protects against re-traumatization, and supports meaningful, sustainable healing. Central to her approach is the belief that trauma healing is not only about reducing symptoms, but about restoring connection; connection to oneself, and to others. This work often supports clients in developing more secure attachment patterns and increasing their capacity for meaningful connections with family, partners, friends, and their communities.

Caitlin has practiced closely with Cara Dixon, LPC, NCC, for over seven years, collaborating in program development and initiatives aimed at expanding access to high-quality, trauma-informed care. In addition to her work with clients, Caitlin supervises provisionally licensed therapists toward full licensure and supports EMDR group consultation for EMDR trained clinicians. Caitlin is also a co-founder of Root to Branch, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, short-term EMDR therapy, trauma-informed resources, and community-based support for specific populations with limited access to high quality trauma treatment.
