Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance. She has also completed her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification through the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists. Caitlin is an EMDR Certified Therapist through the EMDR Institute and EMDRIA. Most recently, Caitlin was approved to begin work as an EMDRIA Consultant-In-Training (CIT) in order to provide consultation on best EMDR practices and advancement among other colleagues. Additionally, Caitlin currently facilitates further training, education, and internal growth & support of her colleagues at Growth Minded as the Outpatient Services Clinical Supervisor.

Caitlin has several years of experience providing group and individual therapy at all levels of care: acute psychiatric inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient. With this, she has worked with a variety of mental health diagnoses, most recently working with patients 13 and older with acute presentation of eating disorders and trauma. The focus of Caitlin's current work is primarily around treating chronic mental health conditions, attachment wounds, developmental trauma, and complex trauma through EMDR. This includes presentations of suicidality, depression, non-suicidal self injurious behavior (NSSIB), anxiety, eating disorders, and other post-traumatic stress responses that impact one's quality of daily life.

Caitlin has practiced closely under the clinical supervision of Cara Dixon, LPC, NCC (EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant) for over seven years, and alongside her in program development and efforts around increasing access to quality care. In session, Caitlin applies psychodynamic and humanistic principles to her work in order to support clients in self-discovery and building helpful insight from their experiences. With her experience and training in utilizing multiple theoretical interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), aspects of Schema, and Motivational Interviewing, Caitlin connects compassionately with each of her clients. Caitlin fosters a collaborative approach with an emphasis on clients learning foundational skills to improve their well-being. It is her belief that immense healing can come from a safe and supportive therapeutic partnership.
