About Alexander

Alexander Hosey, LCSW, provides addiction-focused outpatient psychotherapy. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), he works with individuals navigating substance use and process addictions as well as those exploring their relationship with drugs and alcohol. His work addresses common co-occurring concerns associated with addiction, such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges. Alexander also supports family members and loved ones impacted by addiction, helping clients understand patterns of behavior while developing practical strategies for growth. In addition, he works with adolescents on emotional regulation, strengthening interpersonal relationships, and building skills to support overall mental health and wellbeing.

Within the Growth Minded practice, Alexander collaborates closely with colleagues to help clients access the level and type of care that best supports their goals. This includes coordinating with EMDR providers when trauma-focused work may be helpful and offering concurrent support for clients participating in our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs), particularly those with underlying addiction related concerns.

Together, our team aims to provide streamlined, coordinated care in order to help clients access the right support while building greater clarity, stability, and momentum in their recovery.
