About Alexander

Alexander Hosey, LCSW, provides outpatient psychotherapy with a focus on addiction, substance use, and process addictions. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), he works with individuals exploring their relationship with drugs and alcohol while addressing common co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, and stress.

He also supports family members and loved ones impacted by addiction, helping clients understand patterns of behavior, strengthen relationships, and develop practical strategies for lasting growth.

In addition, Alexander works with adolescents navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, changing friendships, academic pressure, identity, and the many challenges that come with growing up. Whether the focus is building practical coping skills or gaining greater self understanding, he provides a supportive space for teens to develop confidence and resilience.

As part of the Growth Minded team, Alexander collaborates closely with colleagues to ensure clients receive the level of care that best fits their needs. This includes coordinating with EMDR therapists when trauma focused treatment is appropriate and providing concurrent support for clients participating in our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs), particularly those with addiction related concerns.

Together, our team provides coordinated, evidence based care designed to help clients build clarity, stability, and lasting momentum in their recovery and overall wellbeing.
