About Alexander
Alexander is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania with a Master of Social Service (MSS) from Bryn Mawr College. He works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, substance use-related concerns, and other mental health challenges. With a deep appreciation for the therapeutic relationship as the centerfold of meaningful clinical work, Alexander prioritizes building trust, safety, and collaboration with each client. His psychotherapy philosophy is rooted in exploring the nature of emotions and behavior while focusing on strategies to address concerns and struggles in the here and now.

Alexander believes that therapy should be both reflective and action-oriented, offering space to understand emotional patterns while also developing practical tools to help clients live with greater clarity and intention. His work is relational and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and a client-centered approach that emphasizes self-awareness, acceptance, and personal growth. He supports clients in working through emotional challenges while building resilience and highlighting their strengths.

His clinical experience spans medical and community mental health settings, including supporting Veterans in the Department of Veteran Affairs Health System. From healthcare and neuroscience research to life coaching and facilitating difficult conversations around loss and grief, diverse roles have deepened his understanding of how personal and structural stressors intersect.
Alexander has a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and develop steadiness and self-compassion.

Clients often describe Alexander as calm, grounded, and attuned - someone who brings a steady, compassionate presence to the therapy room while encouraging meaningful reflection and growth.
