About Dr. Grossman
Dr. Grossman is a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania. She earned her doctorate degree from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. While in graduate training, Dr. Grossman worked in a variety of health-care settings, including an outpatient HIV clinic, and inpatient headache clinic, and a variety of primary care offices. Her pre-doctoral internship was with WellSpan Behavioral Health in York, Pennsylvania, which included specialized focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as additional health-psychology training. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California, allowing her to work in a variety of hospital-based settings including a breast cancer screening unit, cardiac rehabilitation, and neuro-gastroenterology.
Dr. Grossman has extensive experience with psychodiagnostic testing and evaluations. Her training has specifically focused on cognitive-based testing, including testing for ADHD, learning disabilities, and neurocognitive screenings for dementia and other cognitive impairments. She has worked with adolescents, adults, and older adults.
In treatment, Dr. Grossman’s style is integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered therapy. She strives to tailor her treatment approach to meet the unique needs and stages of change of each individual patient. Dr. Grossman is passionate about helping individuals with a variety of medical illnesses learn to cope with and live a meaningful, fulfilling life, within the context of their injury or disease.
